‘Malta Townhouse’ is a charming Maltese Townhouse for guests to enjoy as a home away from home. We are positioned in a wonderful location in the cosmopolitan area of Sliema, a highly popular town in the heart of Malta. On your doorstep is everything you would want from an experience in Sliema. It is close to all amenities and is only a few moments’ walk to the extensive Sliema promenade, where you can stroll along the beachfront containing the numerous attractions of Sliema. On the promenade there is an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops, making it a lively area for tourists and locals.
We are a quick walk downhill to the Sliema ferries, which has a 5-minute boat trip to the capital city of Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, an area of outstanding beauty filled with historical architecture and protected natural heritage. You can easily visit the rest of the island from Sliema, as well as take the ferry to our sister island Gozo, from Valletta. There are also two shopping centres, one at Tigne Point, and another at The Plaza. There are also numerous businesses located in Sliema, and due to its central location, it is a popular spot to be located.
We provide short let accommodation throughout the year. Due to its central location, popularity and amenities, Malta Townhouse attracts tourists looking for short-let accommodation, and is also a high demand location for long-term accommodation. We are located on top of a hill, with wonderful views, overlooking the capital city of Valletta. Although it is a very centrally located townhouse, we are positioned on a quiet cul-de-sac street away from the hustle and bustle of Sliema.
Malta Townhouse is a bright and airy home over four floors. Both inside and outside, this early 20th Century property retains most of its original features that a townhouse has, such as original limestone façade with enclosed Maltese balcony, limestone walls inside, high ceilings, stone slab ceilings “Xorok” with wooden beams and original patterned floor tiles. The ground floor has a spacious and comfortable lounge leading into a separate kitchen/breakfast area with large french doors and balcony. On the first floor is a quiet open study area with a large window. This leads onto a beautiful spacious double bedroom with a Maltese balcony, tall ceilings, and a large en-suite bathroom containing full bath and shower. The second floor has a second spacious and comfortable double bedroom, encompassing the whole of the top floor, with large patio doors leading onto a balcony which has wonderful views of the gardens below and of Valletta. This room also contains an en-suite toilet and a kitchenette for convenience. It leads through French doors onto a spacious terrace at the front of the property, overlooking the street. In the basement there are two additional rooms providing flexible space, with sleeping facilities and both having en-suite shower rooms. One of these rooms leads onto a sweet courtyard at the rear of the property, providing shade and seclusion. It is further complemented by an open and spacious roof terrace at the top of the property. At the very top is an enclosed roof space with wonderful views across Sliema and Valletta. The accommodation sleeps up to four people. The property is suitable for adults and is not suitable for children or toddlers. As there is no lift in the property, and there are stairs to each floor, it is not suitable for those who are unable to use stairs.
