The Neighbourhood

Malta Townhouse is positioned in a wonderful location in the cosmopolitan area, in the heart of Sliema in Malta and is a few moments walk away from the Sliema Ferries, waterfront, beaches and the sea which has a wonderful view, overlooking the capital city of Valletta. Although it is a very centrally located townhouse, it is positioned on a quiet cul-de-sac street.

There is an abundance of restaurants, cafes, bars and is 100 meters from Malta’s largest shopping mall, called “The Point” at Tigne.“The Point” contains boutique, designer and mainstream shops on three levels, including a supermarket on the lower level, a pharmacy and an ATM. A choice of additional supermarkets are within short walking distance; turn left when leaving the house. Further restaurants and bars, cafes are along the promenade on The Strand, Tower Road, Balluta Bay and St Julians. Our recommendations include:

Transport facilities are easily accessible and include Sliema Ferries, Buses, Sightseeing Buses, Tour Guides, Taxis, Car Hire and Bike Hire.

Football Field

A football field is located on the roof of Tigne Point Shopping Mall, as shown on the satellite map below! The large blue dot on the map is our location at Tigne Suites. Please see local news for information on matches.

Sliema Ferries

Tigne Suites is walking distance (just 50 meters) to the Sliema ferries which take you on a five-minute trip to Valletta, the capital city of Malta. Boat trips can also be taken for wonderful trips around Malta, and the additional quaint islands of Gozo and Comino.

Sightseeing Buses

For a relaxed tour of Malta and Gozo, sightseeing buses are available to take you all around the islands, providing you with commentary of your tour in many languages. There are several companies providing this, for further details see www.maltasightseeing.com or http://www.citysightseeing.com.mt.
